Motherless Daughter's By Hope Edelman

Being a Motherless Daughter since the age of 12 I have been seeking out something to help me put my mind at ease about the death of my Mother. This book was suggested to me bya group that i am a member of. I usally do not read self help books as I find them boring and hard to understand. But this book was another matter I was glued to the book for a entire weekend and I found alot of answers to my private questions. Edelman's style of writing was easy to read and easy to understand. If you know some one in your life who has lost thier mother as a child this could be a book to suggest to them to help them understand the process they went through. This book is written for women who lost thier mother at birth to the age of 21.

A Man Named Dave by David Pelzer

Years ago I read David's previous books A Child Called It and The Lost Boy.
Somehow I missed this book. A Man Named Dave. In this book you learn how his childhood affected his adult life. In his marriages and work . How he managed to forgive his mother and reunite with his brothers. The story about finally finding his father and being there for him at the end of his life brought tears to my eyes.
Such a inspirational story from a Inspirational man! If you had read his other books you may want to pick this one up
