 My thoughts: The friendship of Barbara and Catherine was fasicanting  it was a fast pace read for me the character of Barbara kept me interested in the story but I just wish there was more of Catherine 's life .  Lots of twists and an turns to keep you turning the page, The development of the friend ship between Sophie and Barbara was one of my favorite parts. This book just draws you to another time in Russia and you just dont want to leave until that last page .
